Business Leaving OHIO

Next door to its' northern neighbor, Michigan, this state's citizens work at numerous large, mid-sized, and small businesses. The nation is broke, in debt for over 11 TRILLION DOLLARS, but rational thinking doesn't seem to affect our representatives. Most people in debt over their heads do not 'invest' or 'spend' more money to buy 'insurance' - they REDUCE THEIR SPENDING!

Unfortunately it seems that Economics 101 is beyond the capability of our federal and state legislators to understand.

Government 'spending' and 'investment' does not mobilize the economy BECAUSE it has to SUCK MONEY out of ACTUAL businesses and people to INVEST (i.e. spend the taxpayer's hard earned and overtaxed income). Taking money from private citizens and using it for government run agencies, committees, reforms, or services is called TAXATION. Assessing a FINE for all those who do not comply with a government mandate makes it involuntary, and once again it is called a TAX. You're not allowed to OPT OUT of it.

The 'reform' bill costing 1 TRILLION DOLLARS is actually a TAX on the people of the United States of America for ONE TRILLION DOLLARS.

Taxes do NOT stimulate anything except more wasteful government spending along with the usual fraud, waste and abuse.

Some questions:

1. Why do so many Congressmen, Representatives & Senators, as well as other elected and appointed officials lack thesnse to even 'want to' 'balance the budget'? Do they not have to balance their own checkbooks? Or do their spouses do that? If it is good for their household budget why isn't it good for the USA - as our elected representatives? Explain it to me - I don't understand.

2. If there is so much money to be saved in MEDICARE why haven't we seen it? Is it an actually savings or
'less increasae in spending'? The population is aging so there will be a LOT MORE senior citizens over 65 years of age using the MEDICARE program. Exactly how are you going to save HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of DOLLARS from one of the fastest growing federal programs when you enroll millions to tens of millions of more citizens? Explain it to me - I don't understand.
