Tenth Amendment - State Resolution
James Madison, one of our nation's Founding Fathers, wrote:
"The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite."
As you are probably aware, there is a movement among state legislatures to pass "Tenth Amendment" resolutions affirming state sovereignty over those powers not granted to the federal government by the Constitution as secured by the Tenth Amendment.
Already such resolutions have been introduced in the following states:
Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington.
In Oklahoma and South Dakota both houses of the state legislature have already passed Tenth Amendment resolutions.
If such a resolution has not already been introduced in your state legislature, introduce a Tenth Amendment resolution.
If a Tenth Amendment resolution has already been introduced, please support its passage.

They affirmed this by the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution - The Bill of Rights:
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

It's high time to restore the balance of power between the states and the federal government as prescribed by the U.S. Constitution.
