Recovery.gov - Investments by Recipients - 24 July 09

The RECOVERY.GOV website has been improved so that it now provides more useful access to the data. In the end, it is not fine prose nor presentation skills that will convince Americans that there is 'TRANSPARENCY' but data.

It is all about the data!

The Recovery Act was enacted to create and save jobs through projects funded at the state and local level. States are just beginning to send information to federal agencies detailing how they are spending some of the funds. As more data is received, the Recovery Board will update and add to the information displayed on this map. The orange dots indicate the location of a project funded under the Recovery Act.
