Our elected representatives who favor INCREASES in government programs, involvement, and interference in the daily lives of America's citizens really think that they are superior to the 'average' American. Their quest is not for justice or equality of opportunity, but for their own power and social status -- it really upsets them that they have to pander to the 'little people' to retain political control.
The rich who try to manage the size of soft drinks, fats in our foods, or how you can display your retail prodcuts are no different.
